Beta v0.9.12

Beta v0.9.12 is out!

what's new:

fixed artillery firing
AI fires artillery
new 3D markers for friendly units
unit strength replenishes
unit now flees when morale is zero
the enemies morale is shown as bars when near player
player can now choose starting money and more
fixed infantry would keep entering and leaving vehicle
less lag
fixed respawning
transport aircraft no longer wander
other changes

    1. I just tested it and everything seems to work fine. maybe they did spawn but never got out of APC? everything seems to work here on my end...

  3. it's not every time and every units.

    For exemple, an ally tank group spawn 2 other tanks in one battle but doesn't spawn tanks or react to enemy in the next battle.

    Also got many "groups dest waypoint was invalid" in the logs

    I will retry with the Alpha to be certain it's not the dev build the cause the problem

  4. btw when the units dont spawn AI could it be that the unit is in simulated battle? the battles have red markers on map.

  5. In that case I wouldn't have the message that indicate the unit have make contact with the enemy.

    That's normaly the indication that the spawn will start.

    1. could be but not necessarily. one soldier could also trigger the contact made message.

    So no spawning problem on the ally side but they were on the enemy side

    Some team leader doesn't spawn or react to me until il kill them
    Then they become hostile and spawn troops

    They were also some trouble with chopper (not moving to the next landing zone or crashing)

    The respawn broke in the end, couldn't respawn anymore.

    Maybe you can post the new beta on BI forum again to have more beta tester and advices.

    1. Hmm how long game did you have until the respawn broke?
      when the respawn broke could you change unit?

      I haven't noticed spawning problem with the enemy my self but sometimes they spawn to the edge of the city which is why it seems they are no where to be found but they are there.

  8. The enemy leader was next to the flag and just after i kill him, a lot of enemy spawn next to me.

    I played more than 30 min. I could select other squad but the menu indiquate respawn in 0.


    Blue team was in control of 3/4 of the map at that time.

  9. Ok the leader at the flag pole happened to me too. I dont know why he's just standing there but if you wait a while he starts shooting back...
    I will try to fix that..

    One reason you cannot respawn anymore is that the unit (group) you are in has started retreating. In this case you need to select a new unit.

  10. After loading a saved game, the team select menu is empty.
    I can change unit but not soldier

      I think I wont use CBA at this time because it would be dependency for the mission.

  12. I think it would be better tot use CBA fonction instead of BIS and custom fonctions.
    Take a look at the CBA wiki for CBA fonctions and script that can replace yours.

    CBA is faster than vanilla fonctions and less buggy or broken by new updates

  13. Everybody use CBA in other mod or heavy scripted map and a lot of people have the mod.

    They is a good attack, defend and patrol script inside

    I have tested the module version and it could solve the seek and destroy problem and you can add a range for the patrol or attack. The script generate everything.

    It's compatible with trigger, array ...

    1. I think I'm going to stick with my own scripts because not only I do not know how to use CBA I also believe it might not be compatible with my mission. especially with unit spawning.
